Focus and Scope

The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the area of Islamic Economics

Al-Falah, particularly focuses on the main problems in the development of the sciences of islamic economics areas as follows:


  1. Islamic Finance such as shariah accounting; public finance.; Islamic monetary and fiscal issues.

  2. Islamic Bank

  3. Islamic Economic Development

  4. Islamic Political Economics

  5. Islamic Philantrophy such as zakat, waqaf issues.

Peer Review Process

The submitted manuscript is first reviewed by an editor. It will be evaluated in the office, whether it is suitable for Al-Falah: Journal of Islamic Economics in Islamic Economics focus and scope or has a major methodological flaw and similiarity score by using iThenticate.

The manuscript will be sent to at least two anonymous reviewers (Blind Peer Review). Reviewers' comments are then sent to the corresponding author for necessary actions and responses.

The suggested decision will be evaluated in an editorial board meeting. Afterwards, the editor will send the final decision to the corresponding author.

Publication Frequency

AL-FALAH: Journal of Islamic Economics publishes twice a year (June and December). Each issue number (issue) amounts to a minimum of five (5) the title.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Plagiarism Check

Al-Falah Editorial Board will ensure that every published article will not exceed 20% similarity Score. Plagiarism screening will be conducted by AL FALAH Editorial Board using Similarity Check Powered by iThenticate

Article Processing Charges

Every article submitted to Al-falah: Journal of Islamic Economics will not have any 'Article Processing Charges'. This includes submitting, peer-reviewing, editing, publishing, maintaining and archiving, and allows immediate access to the full text versions of the articles.

Journal Archiving

This journal utilizes the RJI Archive Journal System to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
